What is REP?
The Refugee Exit Plan (REP) is an all-encompassing, evidence-based approach that facilitates refugees' transition from welfare by providing 90 days of pre-arrival training at refugee camps and monitoring their financial contributions after they arrive. This model fills a crucial gap in the resettlement process, which often relies on post-arrival support but does not sufficiently prepare refugees for the workforce they will join in the US or track their economic contributions.
REP is a proven initiative created by Nana Ahmed, founder of Agents of Hope, to help refugees build successful lives in Illinois.
